My Journey to Living in Alignment

For much of my life, I knew who I was. What I hadn’t learned was how to be comfortable being her.

I spent years worrying about what other people thought, whether my confidence or accomplishments might make someone else uncomfortable, and whether showing up fully as myself would somehow diminish somebody else.

So I adjusted. I accommodated. I became whoever I thought someone needed me to be.

I was performing for acceptance.

And here’s the funny thing: I could give some excellent advice! Taking my own advice? Well, that was another story. 😂

I encouraged other women to recognize their worth, embrace their gifts, and live authentically, while I wasn’t always doing those things for myself.

I knew it, too. And eventually, the disconnect between what I believed and how I was living became something I could no longer ignore.

I wanted to practice what I preached.

My journey of self-discovery required me to make a conscious decision to be honest with myself, even when that honesty revealed patterns I needed to change.

I came to recognize my behavior for what it was: self-suppression.

And through the lens of my faith, I began to see it differently. I believe God blesses us to be a blessing to others. Holding back the gifts I’d been given, simply to make other people comfortable, began to feel less like consideration and more like failing to honor those gifts.

I wasn’t becoming a different woman. I was learning to live in alignment with the woman I’d always been.

And that’s what I bring to this space: not a claim that I’ve mastered life, but a willingness to share what I’ve learned, acknowledge where I’ve fallen short, and encourage other women to do their own inner work.

Because I know firsthand that knowing better and doing better are two different things.

And living authentically begins when we’re willing to be honest with ourselves.

Honor Your Story

I've learned that honoring my story means acknowledging all of it, including the choices I wish I'd made differently. I can take responsibility for my past without allowing it to define my future.

Choose Yourself

Choosing myself meant no longer making everyone else's comfort my responsibility. I could be considerate of others without abandoning myself. That was a lesson I had to learn—and practice.

Recognize Your Self-Worth

My worth wasn't something I needed to build or earn. It was something I needed to recognize and honor. I learned that embracing my gifts didn't diminish anyone else's.

My Mission

My mission is simple:

To encourage women to recognize their worth, embrace their gifts, and do the inner work necessary to live authentically. Not to become someone else’s version of who they should be, but to live in alignment with who they truly are.

You don’t have to have it all figured out to begin.
You just have to be willing to start.

Let's Keep Becoming Together

Whether you’re finding your voice, rediscovering your confidence, or simply navigating life one lesson at a time, you’re welcome here.

I don’t believe we have to have everything figured out to learn from one another. Sometimes we need encouragement. Sometimes we need a different perspective. And sometimes we need someone who cares enough to tell us the truth, even when it’s uncomfortable.

That’s the kind of connection I value, and the kind of space I hope you’ll find here.

Come as you are. There’s room for you here.
